These two mask are by mothermade® (Korean beauty brand) and came as a set, each box contains six capsules (total of 6 masks per box). Individual mask packets have two compartments that look like over-sized capsules. One compartment contains a mask cloth that is dry and compressed into a capsules-like form – which I thought was a cute idea. The other compartment contains the liquid that you rehydrate the capsule in. Once you drop a capsule into the liquid it doesn’t take long to soak up and absorb the majority of it. Then you remove the soaked cloth, unwind it and open it up. I thought that it would be susceptible to dripping once applied to the face, but neither mask did – which is always a plus in my book (had too many incidents of mask liquid/serum dripping into my eyes uncomfortably). Both have a similar scent, each very mild, not heavy, but light and pleasant.

The blue package is Aqua Relax and is a mask for the eyes and is very soothing, much like using cucumbers, but without the inevitable sliminess as it picks up heat from your skin. It’s cooling on the eyes, especially when I have a headache. It’s also hydrating and made the skin under my eyes feel suppler, at least for a little while.
There was no irritation or redness during or after application. I have to say that I really like this product! The only negative is that you have to remain reclined for 15 minutes with your eyes closed, haha! But it offers a great opportunity to meditate and relax (attempt to, at least).
The peachy/orange box is Sun-Zone Derma Relief and is a mask for the nose and cheeks.
Since it hasn’t really been sunny lately, I haven’t had a chance to use this on sunkissed/burned skin, but my cheeks have been dry because of the colder temperatures. I was hoping that this would give my skin some much needed hydration – and I wasn’t disappointed. Like the Aqua Relax, this one was very soothing and hydrating.
Thumbs up for both masks!
