Tweexy Nail Polish Holder

So 1st, a little update on me! I may have a little time this weekend to do some posts and reviews. Last Tuesday I took my American Medical Technologists (AMT) Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification board exam and I passed! Which means technically, I can now add the RMA credential behind my name 🙂 and it’s nationally recognized. I still have finish 2 more weeks of class, then I’ll be starting externship to complete 180 more clinical hours. AMT won’t issue our physical certificates until my entire class finishes those hours :/ so even if I finish early, I’ll have to wait for everyone else to finish too – which kind of bites. Then our graduation is set quite a ways away – in late September.

We took our professional CPR exam today and I passed that as well! I can’t believe how far I’ve come! Now if I can get through that externship, have it be an awesome job with awesome people, and have them hire me at the end that would be so amazing! *crossing fingers*

When I first saw this thing, I thought it would turn out to be one of those gimmicky contraptions – sounds good, but when you get it, it’s a complete waste of money. However, it does work. It’s made entirely of silicone. The rings are flexible and open so that they fit over the fingers easily. It’s a little heavier than I imagined it would be, but that helps stabilize it on the fingers.

I didn’t have issues with any of the shapes of nail polishes that I currently own, each sat in the basin pretty well and my worries that it might tip over if I turned my hand were put at ease.

I recommend unscrewing the wand before putting the nail polish bottle in the basin as the bottle will swivel around otherwise, despite the texture on the inside bottom and the triangles that hold the bottle in place. I like that if I wanted to paint my nails with my fingers curled to the palm,  I could move this bottle holder so that it sits lower down on my fingers, just below my finger joints (IDK I guess you’d call them the 2nd knuckles?).

With the rings being open, you can pull the bottle holder up so that you don’t have to slip them down over wet nails, too, which is convenient.

Overall, I think this is a great idea, and works as it was intended. In my opinion, this is a little on the pricy side though at $14.95 (+ free prime shipping) via Amazon.
