Rosa Damascena: One of the most nourishing and skin-friendly natural oils, providing balance, moisture, and a variety of vitamins and minerals to the skin.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B): This potent vitamin has been clinically proven to fade away hyperpigmentation, sun spots, and acne.
Rosehip Seed Oil: Naturally rich in Vitamins C and A, these essential fatty acids work quickly to lock in skins moisture.
Evening Primrose Oil: Provides light, non-oily moisture to the skin, never clogging or irritating the skin.
Bearberry: Reduces melanin production, thereby lightening the skin, revealing a brighter complexion.”
Like their Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum, this serum was to be used in the evening, but I decided to use it during the day since I was already using the other before bedtime.
The serum is a very lightweight white lotion and comes in that glass amber bottle with serum-type pump top. As the name suggests and the description given states, this contains damask rose. The fragrance, however, is not overpowering as you might expect. Instead the rose is very soft and subtle mixed with the scent of witch hazel. Once smoothed into the skin the rose fragrance fell away to sweeter tones.
I found that it really is very refreshing and hydrating on the face, bringing a healthy soft glow to the cheeks and forehead, and very smooth silky feeling skin. Most of my skin was hydrated enough to forego a moisturizer, and I just had to apply a little more to my forehead because it’s a stubborn dry area. Also, applying foundation afterward felt so effortless.
Definitely at the top of my list of faves and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a hydrating serum.
